Customers can earn Loyalty Currency on layby sales; however, they do not receive the Loyalty Currency until they make the final payment on the layby.

The process for creating a layby from a Loyalty sale is the same as for a non-Loyalty sale, with the exception that you must scan the customer’s Loyalty card.

To create a layby from a Loyalty sale:

1. Ensure that you have added the loyalty customer to the transaction, refer to Scan a Loyalty card during a sale or Look up Loyalty member's details.

2. Follow the usual process for creating a layby. Refer to Add a Layby for more information.

3. Ask the customer to sign the store copy of the docket, and give the customer their copy.

4. Inform the customer that they will only receive the Loyalty earned on the layby sale when they make the final payment.
