When a retail price change is made on any workstation, in any of the following screens, the product is added to the Product Price Changes Report:

  • From any module where the Stock Card can be edited for example; Product Maintenance, Order Maintenance, promotions
  • Price Manager
  • Product Quick Fix
  • Price Maintenance

It is recommended you check and potentially clear the prices changes report prior to making any price changes. Labels can be printed or sent to the Label Queue from the Product Price Changes report.

To print labels for entire category or product range, highlight the products and click the Labels button from Price Manager or Product Quick Fix. Alternatively, use the Labels by Range or Labels by Tag icons from Stock Manager.

Step by Step Instructions

Check the Price Changes Report

This report should be checked before you make any retail price changes.

From Stock Manager:

1. Click the Reports menu.

2. Select 3. Pricing Reports.

3. Select 2. Product Price Changes.

The Product Price Changes window is displayed.

4. Click Okay.

The Product Price Changes Report is displayed.

5. Click Print, if you require a paper copy of the changed prices.  Alternatively, click Close.

To send price changes to the label queue

From the Product Price Changes window:

1. Select 2. Send to Labels Queue from the Output Type dropdown list.

2. Select the Include Negatives and 0 SOH checkbox if you want to queue a label for these products.

3. Click Okay.

Products have been sent to the label queue.

Print labels

From the Product Price Changes window:

1. Click the Print Labels button.

The Product Labels window is displayed.

 

2. Select the store preferred Label Type from the dropdown list.

3. Click Okay.

The Print Options window is displayed.

4. Ensure the correct printer is selected, click Change to adjust.

5. Adjust the Start position if required, by clicking Select.

6. Load the correct stationery in the printer if required.

7. Click Start to print the labels.

8. Clear the Price Changes Report.

Clear the Price Changes Report

1. Navigate back to the price changes report.

Click the Reports menu and select 3. Pricing reports and 2. Product Price Changes.

The Product Price Changes window is displayed.

2. Check the Clear price changes report check box.

3. Click Okay.

The Product Price Changes Report is displayed.

4. Click Print, if you require a paper copy of the changed prices.  Alternatively, click Close.

The Product Price Changes Report has now been cleared.

Note: 
It is recommended that you always clear this report once you have printed your labels or them to the label queue.
