Your Minfos database will normally run an automatic backup each night, but various issues or factors can prevent your backup from running.

When you open Minfos and the backup has not run overnight, the following Warning. No backup exists! prompt is displayed, along with the number of nights since the backup has run. It is important that you do not ignore this warning. Refer to To run the back up now.

Note: Minfos recommends you contact your Hardware Vendor if you have continuous issues with the Minfos automatic backup failing.

If a backup has not run for five nights, on the morning of the sixth day you will be prompted to enter an access code to log into Minfos. To obtain an access code, call Minfos support.

Note: The automatic back up will not occur overnight if:
There is a power outage.
The computer which runs the backup is turned off.
Warning: When no automatic back up was run, your external/offsite back up may be out-of-date.
