Create a pack run for a single patient by selecting one patient on the patient search window or from the patient profile and click Create Pack Run.

a. Trays

Select the Trays to be included in the pack run:

Select All to include all Trays

OR

Select an individual Tray

a. Date 

Choose a date range for the pack run.

The From date will default to the patient’s Cycle Start Date as set in their profile.

The To date is based on the Pack Type.

 

For example, for a Weekly pack type, the To date will be 7 days from the From date.

Select the Trays (sachet rolls) to be included in the pack run:

Select All to include all rolls  

OR

Select an individual roll.

 

You may wish to create a pack run for only S8 drugs (which will default to roll 2) or Warfarin (which may be assigned to roll 3 if Packed Separately was selected).

b. Date Range

Use the date picker to choose a date range for the pack run.

The From date will default to the patient Cycle Start Date as set in their profile.

The To date is based on the Pack Type.

 

For example, for a Weekly pack type, the To date will be 7 days from the From date.

b. Drug Selection

You can choose to not include patient drugs in a pack run by de-selecting the corresponding checkboxes. These items will not be packed in the patient’s next sachet.

c. Expiry Date

An expiry date may be set for the pack. The default is one month from today’s date.

*Click Browse to navigate to an alternate location for the exported pack run file.

c. Priority

Click the drop-down and select either Regular or Out of Cycle.

d. Drug Selection

You can choose to not include patient drugs in a pack run by de-selecting the corresponding checkboxes. These items will not be printed on the patient’s packing label.

d. Export file and Update VPB

Click the Export file and Update VPB button or [Alt] + [V] to export a packing file and update the virtual pill box medication balances.

e. Select PRN Drug

Choose whether to include a PRN drug in the pack run. The PRN drug will be assigned its own tray.

Click the Export file button or [Alt] + [E] to export the packing file only. The VPB will NOT be updated.

e. Export file and Update VPB

Click the Export file and Update VPB button or [Alt] + [V] to export a packing file and update the virtual pill box medication balances.

f. Print

Click Print to print the tray foils.

 

f. Export file

Click the Export file button or [Alt] + [E] to export the packing file only. The VPB will NOT be updated.
