If the internet or PDS is not available, you will not be able to dispense the eScript. On the prescriber’s authority, you may supply the item as an owing script.

To assist with reconciling the owing when the service is back online, the token can be recorded against the owing.

To set this configuration:

From Dispense Pro:

1. Click the Maintenance menu and select D. Configuration.

The Configuration window is displayed.

2. Navigate to the Dispense/Customer tab.

3. In the Dispense – Screen/Display Options section, check the Request prescription barcode for owing scripts check box. 4. Click OK to save.
