Consumer Medicine Information (CMI) is provided to Minfos through GuildLink distribution services. CMI leaflets provided by GuildLink can be accessed from within Minfos. The CMI can be accessed both during and after dispensing.

To access a CMI during dispensing (before finalising the script):

1. With the drug selected on the Dispense Form, click Drug Info f8 or press [F8].The Drug Information Database window is displayed.2. Click the option to either View C.M.I.'s or Print C.M.I.'s and click Okay.

a. If there is no CMI available for the selected drug from within Minfos, the following prompt is displayed.b. Click OK to dismiss the prompt. To access CMIs that cannot be found within Minfos, please use the search function on the Therapeutic Goods Administration ARTG webpage.

The CMI Print window displays a preview of the CMI. 3. Click Print to print the CMI.

4. Alternatively, click the Print dropdown to display further options:

a. Print large font will print the CMI with enlarged font ideal for customers with vision impairments.

b. Print with patient details from Minfos 8.0.1, this option will no longer print the patient details.

c. Email CMI to patient will send the CMI to the customer email address listed in the customer profile. When attempting to email the CMI to a customer without a valid email address in the customer profile, a failure message will display.

5. To return to the Dispense Form click Close or press [Esc] to exit the Print window and Drug Information Database screens.


To access a CMI from the Script Options menu:

1. From the Script Options menu, click N. View CMI and click Okay.The Display CMI's window is displayed.

2. If there is a CMI available from within Minfos you can choose to View CMI or Print CMI.

a. If there is no CMI found for this product, View CMI and Print CMI will be unavailable. To access CMIs that cannot be found within Minfos, please use the search function on the Therapeutic Goods Administration ARTG webpage.
