User-check If the report you are exporting contains PII ensure you are following the Australian Privacy Principles. Files containing PII should be deleted or de-identified when it is no longer necessary to be retained.

You can easily export the most recently run report from Minfos in a variety of formats, including Excel, text, html, PDF and Email. This allows you to view, analyse or share data in your preferred program. You can also email the report as a PDF directly from Minfos.

Note: This process works for reports generated in Minfos, except for Minfos Online Reporting. See Introduction to Online Reporting

Once you have run a report in Minfos:

1. Close the report and click the Export Report icon. This icon can be found in the module where you ran the report, or click the File menu and select Export Report in the module you ran the report from.

The Report Exporter window is displayed.

 

2. Click the Export Format dropdown and select the required option.

Note: If you do not have 4. Email as an option, refer to Email Configuration to learn how to set up Email capability in Minfos.

3. Click Okay.

4. If you selected:

  1. 0. Excel workbook (Excel 97 or later) – The file will open in Excel.
  2. 1. Text Tab Delimited – The Export Path will auto populate with the default location and file name. Take note of this location, or enter a custom location and click Okay.

  3. 2. Html – The Export Path will auto populate with the default location and file name. Take note of this location, or enter a custom location and click Okay.
  4. 3. PDF – The Export Path will auto populate with the default location and file name. Take note of this location, or enter a custom location and click Okay.
  5. 4. Email – The Email Report window is displayed.
  • Enter the Email address, Subject Line, and Email body and then click Email. The report will be attached as a PDF file
