Minfos gives you the ability to configure Same as - BRAND NAME to print on Dispense Labels when you swap to a different brand during the dispensing process.
To adjust the configuration:
From Dispense Pro:
1. Click the Maintenance menu and select D. Configuration.
The Configuration window is displayed.
2. Click the Printing/Pricing tab and check the Print "Same As" on Labels checkbox.
3. Click OK to save.
On the Dispense Form:
- At any time during the dispensing process if you change the brand of the drug you are dispensing to another brand, Same as - BRAND NAME is displayed in the Directions field and the Label preview
- If you swap brands before you have added any Directions, Same as - BRAND NAME is displayed and highlighted by default
- To retain Same as - BRAND NAME in the directions, simply press [Home] to move the focus to the beginning of the Directions field and then enter the required directions for the prescription
- To remove Same as - BRAND NAME from the directions whilst it is highlighted, enter the required the script directions
