Minfos has several tools that assist you to streamline your ordering processes. The functions and tools demonstrated in this topic will help save you time previously spent manually keying and creating orders.
Create & use order templates
In Minfos, you can set up and save order templates for orders that you generate on a regular basis. Using the order template, orders can be set to automatically generate according to the set schedule, or generated by you when required. The key benefits of order templates are:
- Orders can be created to automatically generate overnight based on pre-scheduled dates and frequencies
- Minfos retains the order settings created on the saved template - saving you from specifying the order parameters each time
- At any point, templates can be run, edited or removed from being automatically run

ePad orders
Pharmacists and dispensary staff can use the Minfos ePad to add a product to an order easily and quickly from various locations during the dispensing process.
This ePad order can then be merged with the generated daily order if required.

Create orders with Minfos ePad
Promotion orders
Minfos enables you to create an order for a specified promotion at the click of a button. This functionality allows you to save time and avoid keying your promotion orders manually.
It is important to note that the promotion must exist in Minfos with all errors actioned before the promotion order can be generated.

Merge orders
The action of merging an order in Minfos allows you to take two existing orders and merge them into one.
Orders that are in the same status can be merged together. For example, two created orders can be merged together or two received orders can be merged. Orders with an issued status cannot be merged.
Merging orders can be useful for combining multiple back orders into your daily order enabling you to transmit a single order as well as merging multiple created orders that are required to be transmitted to the same supplier as one order.

Print proposed orders
It is generally beneficial to prepare orders ahead of time when you are expecting a visit from a supplier sales representative.
We recommend that you create or generate your order and print the order in the Proposed Order format in these situations. The proposed order format includes your recent monthly sales history for each product - helpful information to have on hand when considering discounts and deals that may be offered by sales representatives.
