1. Click on the Profiles icon on the vertical tab to open the Profiles window.

2. You can choose patients for your packing run in several ways:

  • By selecting All Packing Profiles from the dropdown list and selecting patients.
  • By selecting Facilities from the dropdown list, selecting a facility. This will choose all patients in that facility.
  • By selecting Facilities from the dropdown list, selecting a facility, clicking the View Associated Profiles button and selecting patients from the selected facility.

3. Make a selection and click the Create Pack Run button or [Alt] + [P].  In this example, we have chosen to create a pack run for the facility. 

Note All patients in a multiple pack run must use the same DAA type. If they are not the same, the Create Pack Run button will not be enabled.

For both options the Cycle Start Date in the patients packing profile will update accordingly.

Profiles with Cycle Start Dates within range

This option will create a patient’s pack run based on the set up of the patient’s profile. Any patient whose Cycle Start Date falls within the date range is included in the pack run.

For both options the Cycle Start Date in the patients packing profile will update accordingly.

b. Choose a date range for the pack run. The From date will default to the patient’s Cycle Start Date as set in their profile. If the entered date range does not match the Pack Details set up in the patient profile, Minfos will display a prompt, e.g. if a date range of a week was entered but the patient normally receives fortnightly packs.

Set the expiry date for the pack, if necessary. This date will be printed on the foil.

*Click Browse for an alternate location for the exported pack run file.

You can choose between two settings, Regular and Out of Cycle.  Contact to DoseAid for more information.

d. Print

Click the Print button to print the blister foils.

If a packing run export file cannot be created due to missing or invalid details, the Create Pack Run Exceptions window will display. Refer to the section on DoseAid Export Exceptions.
